The Scholarship program is celebrating its 20th anniversary!

After almost two and a half years of lockdowns and quarantines, we can finally socialize in person once more. The Scholarship Committee of the Caribbean Canadian Association of Waterloo Region (CCAWR) is extremely pleased to announce that it will be hosting the beloved signature annual Family Brunch fundraiser this year.

The annual Family Brunch is held in support of the organization’s scholarship fund which to date, has sponsored over $75,000.00 in scholarships to 74 Caribbean students in the Region of Waterloo. Our goal is to promote academic excellence, foster leadership skills, and encourage community involvement among our young adults.

The scheduled date for the long-awaited event is on Sunday, June 12th, 2022; so, mark your calendars. The event will be held at the usual venue, the Wilmot Recreational Centre in Baden. Stay tuned!
