CCAWR Scholarships for 2022 - Deadline is July 15
Up to eight (8) university and college scholarships will be offered in 2022. The scholarship awards will range from $1,500 to $3,000.
Students of Caribbean heritage residing in the Region of Waterloo that are graduating from high school or are currently attending university or college, are eligible to apply for any of our CCAWR scholarships.
VINCENT SMITH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: $3,000
Our premier award is the Vincent Smith Memorial Scholarship, which is valued at $3,000. This award is given to a student with an outstanding academic record, who also displays leadership and community spirit. Many thanks to the support and generous ongoing donation from one of our local community businesses, Raffi Jewellers.
APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS ARE CLOSING ON JULY 15TH
As local Caribbean students make their decisions for university or college, we wanted to remind everyone that applications for scholarships will be open from April 1st through July 15th.

Our scholarship program is now in its 20th year! Since the inception of the program, we have awarded 74 scholarships valued at over $81,000. We are grateful for the support of our local community that has attended our events and provided us with generous donations to support the scholarship program.
