Donate to CCAWR
We provide several options to make donations to the CCAWR general fund or the CCAWR scholarship fund. Donations can be made directly to the organization if a receipt is not required, or through the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Center if a tax receipt is required. Tax receipts will be issued for donations $25 or over.
When making your donation, please indicate where your donation is to be directed e.g., Scholarship fund, CCAWR general fund or a specific program.
Credit Card (Scholarships Only)
You can donate to the CCAWR Scholarship Program by credit card, by visiting the Canada Helps site for the Kitchener Waterloo Multicultural Centre below.
Select CCAWR Scholarships from the “apply donation” drop down and write a note indicating that your donation is to the CCAWR Scholarship program.
You will receive a tax receipt by email from CanadaHelps.
E-Transfers
To send us your donation by e-transfer you may use the email, please use the following email address: treasurer@ccawr.ca.
Please remember to set a password for your e-transfer and send that to us in a separate email to treasurer@ccawr.ca along with your contact address that will be used for the tax receipt.
Cheque
If you would like to make a donation by cheque and require a tax receipt, please follow the instructions below:
The cheque must be made out to the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre (KW Multicultural Centre) if you require a tax receipt.
If you do not require a tax receipt, please make the cheque out directly to the CCAWR.
Please indicate on the memo line where the donation is to be directed (e.g., scholarships, general fund, etc.) and mail the cheque to:
