The CCAWR scholarship program had another successful year in 2021. Despite the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we awarded a record ten (10) scholarships to several outstanding students in our Waterloo Region community. The CCAWR, and our partner The Congress of Black Women of Waterloo Region, continue to support the talent and excellence of young Black people from our local community as they pursue their post-secondary academic dreams.
Many scholarships available for 2022
Up to eight (8) university and college scholarships will be offered in 2022. The scholarship awards will range from $1,500 to $3,000.
Students of Caribbean heritage residing in the Region of Waterloo that are graduating from high school or are currently attending university or college, are eligible to apply for any of our CCAWR scholarships. |
