The CCAWR, BrainSTEM Alliance and our sponsor Canadian Heritage are pleased to present a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) Day on Sunday, March 7th, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The S.T.E.M. Day will teach Primary, Middle and High School students in the Region of Waterloo about Black innovators, inventors and icons. Students will also take part in S.T.E.M. activities designed to stimulate interest and achievement in those fields.
Three two-hour sessions will be hosted by BrainSTEM Alliance: one each for Primary, Middle School and Secondary students. Each session will have teaching/education targeted to that particular age group, as well as a S.T.E.M. activity specifically designed for that group.
Registration is required. Please contact BrainSTEM at firstname.lastname@example.org to let them know of your interest, and to provide contact details so that S.T.E.M. kits can be delivered to students in advance of the March 7th event.
