Black Innovators In STEM: Energy and Robotics – (Grades 4 to 6)

BrainSTEM Alliance is partnering with CCAWR and Kitchener Public Library for Black Heritage Month to highlight Black Innovators in STEM!

About this event

The Canadian Caribbean Association of Waterloo Region (CCAWR), Kitchener Public Library (KPL) and BrainSTEM Alliance invite Grades 4 -6 to get ready to explore Energy & Robotics this February!

In this 1-hour virtual event, BrainSTEM Alliance volunteers will highlight Black Innovators who have made positive impacts in STEM through their ideas, thoughts, and inventions, specifically related to Energy & Robotics. With the kits provided ahead of time, participants will get a chance to learn hands-on the varying STEM concepts covered in this engaging workshop.

Kit pick-up location and date range:

Kitchener Public Library (Central Library branch at Queen St)

Feb 17th – 22nd during library hours

Mail delivery kits are also available for folks not within the KW area (please see ticket options).
